Lafayette General Health receives honors from Press Ganey for achieving and sustaining excellence in service delivery

Lafayette General Health (LGH) is pleased to announce it has been named a 2019 Pinnacle of Excellence Award® winner by Press Ganey. Press Ganey Associates, Inc., a national leader in healthcare analytics, has recognized Lafayette General Health for excellence in healthcare, once again.


LGH achieved this distinction by maintaining consistently high levels of excellence over multiple years for Physician Engagement. The Pinnacle of Excellence award is given annually to the top performing organizations on the basis of extraordinary achievement.


Additionally, four LGH entities will receive the Guardian of Excellence Award in Patient Experience for reaching the 95th percentile for each reporting period for the award year.

•Oil Center Surgical Plaza – Ambulatory Surgery

•St. Martin Hospital – Outpatient Services

•University Hospital & Clinics – Emergency Department


The Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award is a nationally-recognized symbol of achievement in healthcare. Presented annually, these awards honor clients who consistently sustained performance in the top 5% of all Press Ganey clients for each reporting period during the course of one year.
