Boasting world-class equipment by recognized leaders in the field of medical imaging, Lafayette General Imaging (LGI) at Lafayette General Medical Center has the tools to complete tests quickly and be read with accuracy.  This includes a new ultrasound unit that has GPS volume navigation for more accurate tracking of measurements.  LGMC’s new digital X-ray room features the latest in X-ray technology.  The hospital has recently completed installation of a new 3T MRI machine capable of performing functional MRI, which measures brain activity, as well as MR spectroscopy, which analyzes metabolic changes in the brain.  This facility offers the most advanced 3T MRI in Acadiana.

Need a CD of your imaging performed at LGMC? Call ahead to (337) 289-7970 and request a copy before your visit, and be ready to provide your name, date of birth and the doctor you are going to see. The patient is the only individual allowed to pick up the CD, please bring your picture ID with you.
