There are an increasing number of medical treatments every few years that can be delivered or monitored from home with physician oversight. That's where LGMC Home Health services come in.

Nurses, home health aides, physical and occupational therapists, social workers and speech pathologists are available to provide rehabilitation, recovery, education and comfort to patients of all ages in the privacy of the patients' homes. Such services are always provided under the direction of a physician, who prescribes appropriate treatment and care. Our skilled nursing and therapy staff then carefully monitors progress and reports regularly to the doctor, keeping him or her fully apprised of a patient's progress.

Home Health is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most insurance plans. Although it's commonly associated with elderly patients, our Home Health services bring the best of LGMC to cancer patients, stroke victims, burn patients, diabetics and children.

Home Health also provides pharmaceuticals and intravenous therapy services to our patients. Following a doctor's order, our team of clinical pharmacists, registered nurses, therapists and registered dietitians ensure proper treatment in:

  • Physical Therapy
  • Speech Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Medical Social Services
  • Home Infusion Therapy
