LGMC FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Step I
Step I is designed for the mature populations 55 + and for clients just beginning step aerobics. It is low to intermediate in intensity and is guaranteed to energize you. The class consists of cardiovascular work and toning with weights.

Bouncin for Balance
Bouncin for Balance is a stability ball exercise class that focuses on postural muscles. Participants are encouraged to work at their own pace.

Lunch Crunch
Lunch Crunch is designed for intermediate to advanced exercisers; interval training with 20 minutes of low intensity, 20 minutes of step, floor/interval and 20 minutes of sculpting with a cool down.

Cardio Variety
Cardio Variety is designed to increase your cardiovascular fitness level as well as strengthening using a variety of ways to do cardio such as Cardio Box Aerobics, HiLo Cardio and Super Step.

Cardio +
Cardio + contains everything designed for the intermediate to advanced exercisers including step, slide, and double step cardio. This class also consists of toning and sculpting work with bands, weights and the resist a ball to improve overall body definition including abdominal and gluteals.

Yoga Level I
Gentle yoga for the beginning student or those who desire a more restorative practice. Focus on deep breathing exercise, relaxation, slow stretching, balance and body alignment.

Yoga Level II
Intermediate yoga with focus on building strength, flexibility and balance using the yoga asanas (postures) along with the conscious awareness of breath.

Yoga Level II-III
Intermediate-plus is a more vigorous version of Level II.
