Register to be an Organ Donor
You can help save and enhance the lives of patients on the organ donation list. Each registered donor can save up to nine lives.
People become donors through a traumatic brain injury. A traumatic brain injury is often caused by a stroke, aneurysm, or a severe head injury. Only 2% of the population will be a candidate for organ donation. Registering your decision to donate will not interfere with life-saving medical care. Organ, eye and tissue donation is only an option after all life-saving attempts have been made and death is declared.
