St. Martin Hospital (SMH) is a critical access hospital maintaining inpatient acute beds and a skilled nursing rehabilitation unit, as well as a staffed 24-hour ER. Our patient satisfaction scores reflect our sincere dedication to quality care, as we rank among the highest scores achievable. Our inpatient, outpatient and emergency services rank in the Top 1% nationally
(99th percentile in all three patient perception areas). ER visits are up 25% from the previous year. St. Martin Hospital features the only emergency room available in all of St. Martin Parish.
