LGMC Welcomes Dr. Bruce Jones, cardiovascular & thoracic surgeon - 06/23/2007 -

In August, Dr. Bruce Jones will bring his considerable expertise to Lafayette General. An expert in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, Dr. Jones will build a minimally invasive cardiac surgery program—using the da Vinci® surgical system—that is unavailable anywhere else in Acadiana.
Dr. Jones received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Nebraska, and completed post-graduate education at several renowned hospitals, including the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland and the Texas Heart Institute in Houston.
