Expanded Pediatric ER Hours - 2/27/2009 -

Parents can breathe a sigh of relief with the expanded hours in the Pediatric Emergency Department. From a terrible earache late in the evening, to more serious injuries or illnesses, our skilled nurses and full-time physicians stand ready to care for your child. In our pediatric ER, many parents are comforted by the fact that young patients are seen separately from adults.
Pediatric Emergency Department Hours
Monday – Friday, 10 am – midnight
Saturday – Sunday, 11 am – 11 pm
Lafayette General also welcomes board-certified pediatrician Dr.Scott Hamilton, FAAP, to our pediatric Emergency Department. Dr. Hamilton has 16 years experience in the field, including work at Johns Hopkins. He serves as the Governor’s appointee to a committee charged with enhancing emergency medical services for children statewide.
We’ve opened up so you can say, ‘‘Ahhhhh’’.
