Baby's Gonna Go Far—A Breastfeeding Seminar - 7/1/2009 -

Lafayette General will offer a free seminar on breastfeeding—the benefits and tips and tricks from experts on making it work. Dr. Elizabeth Melancon, pediatrician, leads a panel of speakers who will share their own unique perspective on Wednesday, August 5, 6:30 pm, in Lafayette General's Owen Auditorium.
Studies show that breastfed babies are less likely to suffer from colds, earaches and diarrhea, in addition to a reduced risk of childhood obesity.
Dads are encouraged to attend, and each dad will receive a free gift. In addition, The Pavilion will be giving away two electric breast pumps as a doorprize. For more information, call 289-7227.
