Apply for LPN, Radiology Schools - 2/13/2009 -

Employment in the medical field continues to grow, especially in south Louisiana. Lafayette General's School of Health Sciences offers two practical programs—nursing and radiology—and the application period for fall 2009 is under way.
The School of Radiology, a 24-month program, is accepting applications now through April 30 for the course beginning in September 2009. Schooling includes two hours of classroom lecture per day and six hours of clinical participation per day. For more information on costs and admittance requirements, click here.
The LPN School will accept applications starting March 2 and ending June 3 for the class beginning October 2009. The 13-month program, which requires 1,802 hours, includes lecture days Monday through Friday, 8 am - 4 pm, and clinical days are 6:45 am - 3:45 pm. The School of Health Sciences is located at 443 Heymann Blvd., in the Grant Molett Medical Arts Center, and application packets may be picked up at this location.
