Our Events

Lafayette General Foundation celebrates Acadia General Hospital and all who work tirelessly and selflessly to help care for the people of Acadia Parish and our surrounding communities.  Proceeds from the annual Acadia General Hospital Gala go toward the hospital's emergency room renovation and expansion project.

The St. Martin Hospital Celebration focuses on the history and accomplishments of St. Martin Hospital.  More importantly it engages the most important individuals to St. Martin Hospital, the local community!  The money raised from the evening goes towards the St. Martin Hospital Building and Grounds Fund.   The Fund's purpose is to support the ongoing growth of St. Martin Hospital and to provide resources to improve and maintain the existing facility.

In celebration of National Nurses Week, LGF will be hosting the "Heart of Nursing" awards banquet. This ceremony recognizes nurses, nominated by their peers, who have made a significant impact on their patients and the communities they serve.

Our annual golf tournament held at the beautiful Oakbourne Country Club.  The tournament raises funds for the Foundation to help Lafayette General Health deliver the best healthcare to the Acadiana region.

Healthcare Heroes of Acadiana Awards Gala is the largest annual fundraising event benefiting Lafayette General Foundation.  The event honors three healthcare heroes - a Corporate Hero, a Community Hero and a Caregiver Hero.  These heroes are recognized for their contributions to healthcare in Acadiana.

  • NICU Reunion 

  • The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Reunion is an annual gathering of LGMC NICU staff and families who have had children born in the NICU in recent years. The reunion provides a family-friendly setting for staff and families to share stories and memories with each other. The event is an opportunity for families to reunite with the “families” that were created through the bonds made at LGMC.
