  • Acadia General Hospital Emergency Room Expansion & Renovation Development Plan
When faced with a life-threatening emergency, the one thing a patient wants is quick, convenient access to a quality emergency room at a trusted medical facility. Providing quality emergency services is a primary mission of Acadia General Hospital (AGH).

AGH is expanding and renovating its Emergency Department (ED) to enhance patient experience and quality care. The project will increase ED space and treatment room size to accommodate the needs of today’s patients and caregivers. The current ED was built to handle 600 visits per month. Today, AGH’s ED has more than 18,000 visits per year, where patients are treated in a “curtain-ward” environment. The re-developed ED will include additional space for Emergency Services to provide adequate patient care, family waiting and more.

  • Lafayette General Medical Center Chapel Expansion & Renovation Project
For over 50 years, the chaplains of Lafayette General Medical Center (LGMC) Pastoral Care have conducted spiritual work by providing non-denominational spiritual and emotional support, encouragement, comfort, consolation and prayer to the entire care team, and their patients. While LGMC’s healthcare advanced, the chapel where Pastoral Care operates has not changed. The chapel can no longer serve in its current location for daily and Sunday services, as it is only able to accommodate 16 individuals; the need is to serve 40+ individuals. This is why there is an immediate need to renovate and expand the chapel and pastoral care offices by 1,000 square feet and we are seeking your help.  Learn more.
