Visiting Hours

An important part of any patient's recovery is the appropriate amount of rest. That's why it is important that all visitors adhere to the visiting hours designated for the area in which the patient is located. We generally limit the number of visitors per patient to two at a time.

Regular: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Surgical Intensive Care Unit/Medical Intensive Care Unit:

Open at the discretion of the nurse according to the needs of the patient. However, during the time period of 6:30 - 8:30 both a.m. and p.m., visitors are not allowed, to allow for shift change and reporting.

Mental Health Unit: Monday, no visitors.

                              Tuesday-Friday, 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
                               Saturday, Sunday & holidays, 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Labor & Delivery: Seven days a week.

Naptime for Mommies, 1:30-4:00 p.m., Visitors not recommended and no phone calls to patient rooms.

*Visitors may visit during these hours from 30 - 60 minutes

 

How to phone a patient

To phone a patient, dial 289-7 and the three numbers that are the patient's room number.  If you do not know the patient's room number, you may call 289-7991.  Calls are not put through to patients' rooms from 9 p.m. - 7 a.m. to allow for the patient to sleep comfortably without phone interruptions.
