 Volunteers are highly regarded at Lafayette General
because they provide services that supplement the basic, essential
functions of the professional staff. Whether it's greeting
someone in the front lobby, working in the gift shop, performing
clerical duties, or being there for a patient. The volunteer
programs are varied to meet the hospital's needs and your talents
and schedule.
LGMC Auxillary
Our Auxiliary members can be seen at the Information Desk in the
front lobby and managing the hospital's gift shop.
Pastoral Care
Pastoral care volunteers have an important role in that they visit
new patients in the hospital and assess what ministry is desired.
Friends in Deed
The Friends in Deed program offers volunteer positions from patient
care assistance to clerical duties.
All volunteers are required to complete an application,
have an interview and attend an orientation program. To obtain
an application, call 289-7130.
