Childbirth & Parenting Education Classes
Labor & Delivery Process  – discusses admission, labor and anesthesia options. A birth film is shown.
Cesarean Childbirth – discusses reasons for a Cesarean birth. Includes a video of Cesarean deliveries and postpartum care of mom and her newborn.

Newborn Care – discusses characteristics of the newborn, feeding and basic care needs of infants, and techniques parents can use to maximize sensory potential of their newborns.

Breastfeeding Your Infant – discusses preparation for breastfeeding, techniques and potential concerns.

Breastfeeding Support for the Working Mother – for pregnant moms who plan to combine working and breastfeeding, as well as, moms who are currently working and breastfeeding. We will discuss bringing in a good milk supply, pumping at your workplace, and how to maintain your breastfeeding relationship with your baby.


Children's Prenatal Class for "Big Brothers and Big Sisters"– discusses the newborn, feeding, diapering and adjusting to a new family member.

Happiest Baby on the Block – teaches parents a step-by-step approach for quickly soothing even the fussiest baby, based on techniques of Dr. Harvey Karp.

Infant CPR – teaches infant CPR to parents, grandparents and other interested persons. This course is instructional only and does not offer official certification.

Parents of Multiples Support Group – a support group for parents of multiples of all ages, including those pregnant with multiples.   This group will focus on the unique joys and challenges that come with a multiple pregnancy and raising twins, triplets, and more!


Prepared Childbirth – Covers phases and stages of labor and birth, interventions, and Cesarean sections with a special emphasis on natural methods for coping with labor including breathing and relaxation techniques. It is recommended that the L&D Process class be taken prior to attending this class. *Minimal fee. This is a three class series.
