This is an excerpt from a letter written by patient Bruce Rozas about his Summer 2008 hospital stay.
"The purpose of this letter is to sincerely compliment you on running a fantastic institution. I sincerely believe that your hospital is the best in Southwest Louisiana. It didn't matter if it was midnight or dawn, whether it was for a bedpan or a popsicle, the personnel were always there with a smile. Their most common comment was "Is there anything I can do to help you?”
This wonderful service could not exist without the leadership and example of the administration and department heads. The standards that you demand are obviously very high, but the incentives and examples that you give your employees show that they like working for your hospital.
It was only through the friendliness, dedication and personal care of your staff, that I was able to stay sane.
