On a typical Wednesday in August, Yvette Blackwell noticed something unusual in the parking garage at Burdin Riehl. A little boy appeared to be lost, unaware of his surroundings. Yvette immediately took action, going to the child and asking him if he needed help.
The boy explained he was at the hospital with his grandmother, but had gotten lost and could not find her. Thanks to Yvette, the young boy was reunited with his grandmother (who was also looking for him). What could’ve been a frightening experience was resolved by someone who went out of her way to make a difference. Way to go Yvette!
