Computed tomography (CT) uses  special x-ray equipment to create detailed images, or scans, of areas inside the body. Each image created during a CT procedure shows the organs, bones and other tissues of the body.

Ultrasound
Ultrasound uses sound waves instead of radiation to produce medical images. It aids the physician in evaluating the structure of internal organs and can map blood flow through the vessels.
