Brandon Savoy

Even those that work to protect us need our help from time to time. While working on his fire truck, a local fireman passed out and struck his head. After being rushed to Lafayette General Medical Center, he was seen by Cardiovascular Ultrasonagrapher Brandon Savoy. Brandon attended to the fireman, performing a carotid ultrasound as part of the many tests the patient would receive.

That same day, Brandon noticed the wife of the fireman while waiting in line at a local restaurant. Knowing how stressful a hospital visit is for patients and their families, Brandon paid for her meal. This simple gesture to brighten the day of the patient’s family is what “Making a Difference” is all about!
